Bali Bath on Grove

The decor was inspired by the homeowner’s trips to Bali, but before we could select materials we had to address the awkward layout and non-existent closet space. The bathtub jutted out into the middle of the room and the homeowner wanted it out of sight. There were 3 doors entering into the bathroom - from the bedroom, the hallway and the back hallway.  We took over part of the hallway to make a closet space and built closets on the surrounding walls to help hide the new tub. A salvaged tree root was used to feature the sink and a separate custom vanity made the space more functional for the couple.
